NVQ In Occupational Health and Safety - Level 4

Delegates who successfully complete an NVQ Level 4 in Occupational Health and Safety will achieve a recognized NVQ qualification that is work-based and will demonstrate competence including knowledge and understanding in the field of occupational health. The units contained in the NVQ aim to increase the skills of each individual, working in a wide range of environments. On achieving level 4 candidates will achieve GradIOSH grade membership.

An NVQ at level 4 is made up of 13 units. Each candidate produces a written report, with a portfolio of evidence to show competence, knowledge and understanding, to include reports, observations, procedures and tasks, with guidance from an assessor.
- Audience

Full-time safety practitioners, part safety practitioners - anyone requiring a full grounding in health and safety. The key is that this is a role and evidence based qualification at a management level, so you need to be hands on.
Level 4 is designed for those with overall responsibility for health and safety in the workplace and appointed to provide health and safety assistance in organisations with significant hazards and complex risks.
