Each participant will be guided through a series of structured practical exercises. The initial emphasis will be to gain confidence in the use and understanding of Allen Bradley programming Software. Candidates are also encouraged to participate in the writing of PLC programmes and also to gain the necessary Fault Finding skills for the modern day control environment.

Fault find on the Hardware and Software
Produce Structured programmes
Modify, Edit and Document

Make full use of the Search and Find facilities
Note: Ladder programming will be used throughout the course.

Level 1 assumes no previous knowledge of programmable controllers and is suitable for both electrical and mechanical trainees. Some basic awareness of control and production systems is assumed but is not essential.
