- Assessment process
-
The assessment process has 2 components. Part 1 is a Multiple choice examination and Part 2 is a Practical Assessment on the candidates own site. Successfully completion both components will result in the award of the City and Guilds 658 Boiler Operators Certificate.
- Audience

New entrants into industries where shell type boilers are included in their duties. Personnel wishing to gain knowledge of shell boilers & their application. Personnel advancing to an operational roll in a steam process plant.
- Duration

Usually 5 days but this course can be delivered to a timescale suitable for plant operations, either modular, 1 day per week/month or in one week plus 1 day for the practical assessment.
